कौन थे वे हाथ, जिन्होंने पत्थरों में प्राण भरे?
सैकड़ों हाथ, मन और हृदय एक संग खिले।
Hundreds of hands, minds and soul blossomed together in the form of this masterpiece.
I can only guess whose hands created this marvel by breathing life into the stones !
बरसों की तपस्या, समर्पित सूर्य को,
गूंथी गई श्रद्धा, हर शिला में स्वरूप को।
Years of hardwork of their's devoted to the sun God ;
the faith intertwined in the form of the carved stones.
मोढेरा में खड़ा वह मंदिर अनोखा,
जहाँ सूरज का तेज भी पड़ जाए फीका।
A temple erected at Modhera where the glow of sun also pales wherever your eyes sets in.
वह पवित्र पुष्करणी, जल निर्मल बहाए,
स्वयं के प्रतिबिंब में स्वयं को निहाराए।
The sacred well with the pure water used to flow in.
And the God wathcing the reflection of self into it.
छत की नक्काशी, खंभों की गाथा,
हर देव लीला में बसी एक परिभाषा।
Intricate design, stories on the pillars and permenantly freezes stories of the heavenly beings.
मंदिर की शांति, वह पवित्र सन्नाटा,
ले जाए मुझे अतीत के उन्हीं क्षणों तक दोबारा।
The peace into the temple takes me back to the era when it was created.
Reliving those moments that I longs for.
सूर्यदेव की ऊर्जा, पत्थरों में बसी,
मानव के श्रम से वह शक्ति हंसी।
The energy of the sun God moulded into this temple of stone. Hard work of men the energy blosoms like a beautiful flower. And my gaze is in awe of this masterpiece.
जैसे स्वयं सूर्य ने रचाया हो उत्सव,
दिया हो इस धरा को अमर उपहार।
Feeling the sun God himself organised this celebrations through humanity by giving the eternal gift to the Mother Earth.
वह सृजन, वह कला, वह आस्था महान,
भारतीय संस्कृति का है यह गूढ़ प्रमाण।
This creativity, art, faith is far far greater than any philosophy giving this offering to the world through Bharatiya heritage.
Those hands, heart and minds disapeared into the five elements.
But their message is still glowing in front of our eyes.
सृजनकर्ता विलीन हुए अनंत में कहीं,
पर उनका संदेश आज भी वही।
आज भी मैं, और मुझ जैसे कितने,
उस ऊर्जा के उत्सव में खो जाते हैं।
Even today many millions of souls like me get lost into this celebrations.
We come and floats into this unbelievable work of art.
प्राणों में उमंग, हृदय में आलोक,
वंदे मातरम गुंजे हर भारतीय मनमें ।
Feels elated, inspired and thought comes to our mind with pride
" Vande Mataram " ( Salute to the Mother India ).
